Timothy Alan WIESNER

Tim Wiesner, the youngest of five boys, was raised in Overland, Missouri and attended Ritenour Senior High School graduating in 1978. Tim was a self-taught diver who surprised many opposing teams with his talent and skill. He went on to represent Ritenour at the diving state championships his senior year. He also showed his talent riding his unicycle and performing on the backyard trampoline. He first attended Southwest Missouri State College from 1978-80 and was a diver on the swim team there. He then transferred to the University of Missouri at Columbia where he completed his bachelor's degree in business administration in 1982. He lived his adult life in the Overland and St. Peters, MO area. Tim was a people person and worked in sales for years. He was often the sales leader for the month or quarter. He operated his own cab company, picking up fares in neighborhoods where taxis would not go. Tim also worked as a painter, pest control person, house remodeler and many other short term gigs. He lived a minimalist lifestyle and limited his work schedule so he could spend more time with family and friends. When presented with a complex task, he would propose a creative solution and argue that his way was the best. Although never married, he was a generous family man who was always there to entertain, tutor, fix things, run errands and do the hard and dirty tasks no one else would do. He could be Timmy Claus at Christmas or put on a solo puppet show. Uncle Tim was especially fond of his nephew and nieces, Anthony, Erika and Danielle Wiesner. He was a father to them as well as a tutor and helped them with school and anything else in life. He traveled cross country with them, went to concerts with them, and did everything in life to the fullest. Traveling was his passion. He visited many historic sites, national and state parks. His favorite pastime was to take a niece or nephew on the "trip of a lifetime" camping in the car and covering more territory in a few days than most could do in a few weeks. He loved rock music and attending concerts and would often be seen with headphones on enjoying his music without disturbing those around him. He had a passion for Led Zeppelin that was like no other. Tim was the beloved son of Virgil and Rosemary Wiesner of St. Peters, MO. He is also survived by his brothers Rick, Randy, Brad, sisters Val and Traci and nieces and nephews, Crystal Wiesner, Taylor & Alex Stroot, and Jeffery, Jason & Siara Booth. His brother Todd predeceased him in 2015. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 5 - 7 P.M at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services.
