Ronald Earl RAY Sr.

Ronald Earl Ray, 66, of Warrenton Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2022 while vacationing in the Smokey Mountains of Tennessee. Loving husband of Cheryl Ray (Kosinski). We are heartbroken by his passing and were completely unprepared for his loss. Ron was born on May 24,1956 in St. Louis Missouri. Ron was the youngest of 9 children and is preceded in death by his parents, Ollie and Flornce Ray, and his brothers Harold, Jerry, Robert, and Don. He is survived by his sons, Ron Jr., Shane, and Austin, his step-children, Bryan Kuhlman (deceased) (Betty), Andrew Kuhlman, (Karah), Kimberly Coomer, (Kevin) Christina Ritter, (Rodney), his brother Walter Ray, his sister Joan Coyle (Mike-deceased), his sister Carol Coyle (Larry), his sister Shirley Armstrong Ray. Ron was a loving grandfather to 7 grandchildren, Finn, Tucker, Everly, Lillian, Olive, Alexandria, and Rhett all who adored their PaPa Ron. Ron was actively working at Fedex Freight as a driver for 25 years though there wasn't anything Ron could not do. His passion was traveling around the world, but his favorite place was always Mexico. He reveled in being the "host with the most" when it came to entertaining his family and friends. A good time was had by all when enjoying his organizational skills as a tour director on trips, pool parties, BBQ's, impromptu restaurant choices, concerts or whatever exciting adventure he could cook up, and an amazing cook he was. Ron had a quiet side as well and enjoyed sitting on the front porch just watching the deer or listening to a thunderstorm. Ron was a strong person who was a two-time cancer survivor but never let anything keep him down, if you ever asked how he was doing he would simply reply Wonderful. We are blessed knowing he left his suffering, heartache and pain behind from this Earthly Plane. His presence will be sorely missed and his loss is deeply felt by all. There will be a Visitation at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 3:00 – 6:30 pm, with a Service at 6:30 pm. There will also be a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 5, 2022 at 2:00PM at his home in Warrenton Missouri.
