Janice Lee REYNOLDS

Janice Lee Reynolds, 74, was called home on June 20, 2025 at 7:30am with her family surrounding her. She is survived by her three children; Bobbie Stevenson, Jeffrey Mullersman and Kristen Neal, and her siblings; Ellen Dearin, William Parker, Diane Detrie, Christy Parker, Carly Hailey, and her grandchildren; Nicholas Stevenson, Cameron Mullersman, Aiden Zoroufchy, Noah Zoroufchy and Evie Mullersman. Jan is preceded in death by her Mother Georgie Lee Massey and her Father William C. Parker along with her siblings Richard Parker and Robert Hailey and her beloved Aunt Frieda. The elderly and disabled community was near and dear to Jan's heart. She obtained an Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy and founded Caregiver's in Home Services in the 90's, which served these communities. Watching her build the business from nothing was inspiring for her kids. The company thrived and was able to support Jan and her youngest child, Kristen Neal, until retirement, after which Jan passed the company to her eldest daughter, Bobbie Stevenson. Jan's love for those in need will live through Caregiver's in Home Services and in her daughter Bobbie's capable hands. Jan was passionate about her grandchildren. She played an active role in all their lives and was enamored by her first great grandchild Evie with whom she developed quite the bond with. She loved her children and grandchildren evidenced by the pictures she would circulate and brag about regularly. She would say, “we don’t make ugly babies!” The Lake of The Ozarks was Jan’s happy place and a place that brought the family together for boating, fishing and laying by the pool. She enjoyed being near the water and creating a homey environment for friends and family to visit. Jan had a green thumb and was able to make any outdoor area look like a tropical oasis with hot pink flowers and strategically placed giant elephant ears sprouting up. Jan was a faithful follower of Christ. She spent the last year reading her bible daily, growing closer to Him and understanding His promise. When asked if she was afraid her response was, “No, I am ready.” Her faith was inspiring, unwavering and brought her peace. A Catholic Mass will be held in Jan’s honor at St. Vincent De Paul Church in Marthasville, MO on July 14, 2025 at 10am. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Lake Sherwood Community Center located at 9000 Marina Dr, Marthasville, MO 63357. She will then be laid to rest in the ocean in Clear Water, Florida in August 2025.
