Rosemary J FRISCH
October 24, 1922 - January 18, 2022
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Rosemary Frisch, our loving and devoted mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on January 18, 2022. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her residence at The Landing of O’Fallon. She had celebrated her 99th birthday last October. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she witnessed incredible changes to her world, from various major illnesses the world has suffered, the Great Depression, to this infernal COVID-19 virus. She met and married her loving husband William Frisch in 1942 when she was working at a grocery store, and he was a young baker. She was the beloved mother of Ginger (Rod) Shives and Michael (Donna) Frisch, proud grandmother of Andrea (Mark) Persaud, Eric (Andrea) Shives, Bradley Frisch and Brian (Meganne) Frisch, and was even prouder of her 3 great-grandchildren: Giuliana and Oliver Shives, and Henry Frisch. She was predeceased by her husband Bill, sister Mary and brothers Tony, Santo and Tom. Rosemary lived a happy life as a wonderful mother, homemaker and eventually saleswoman at Stix, Baer and Fuller, successfully selling fine China to whomever walked into that department. She was a great cook, kept an immaculate house, was highly skilled at crocheting, and immensely enjoyed bowling and going to play bingo. She was a wiz at Scrabble, gin, Yahtzee and any other competitive game as well. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her children’s strong values that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. There will be a Memorial Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 243 West Argonne Drive, Kirkwood, MO 63122 on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00am with a visitation beforehand at 10:00. We would love to see you there and hear your stories of our mother.
