James "Jimmy" Clark JOHNSON
January 15, 1944 - April 10, 2022
James “Jimmy” Clark Johnson, beloved husband, dad, papa, and uncle, passed from this life peacefully Sunday, April 10, 2022 at home in St. Charles, Missouri, surrounded by his sweet family. He was 78 years old. A true comedian at heart, Jimmy always had a good joke on the tip of his tongue that would make you laugh, cry, or get a roll of the eyes. You never knew if he was telling a real story until he delivered the punchline or started laughing at his own joke, which he always did. He loved the adventure of the open road getting out with his motorcycle or his 3-wheel Slingshot whenever he felt the need for “wind therapy”. If any family member or friend needed help, Jimmy was there or would get there to assist with a caring heart. “Whether I needed a pick-me-up story or joke, or to be picked up because I had car trouble, Jimmy would drop what he was doing to help me”. James was born in 1944 in Alton, Illinois, to parents Bernice and Robert Johnson. He was the baby of the Johnson family, with three siblings who adored him. In addition to being a loving husband, dad, and papa, James was a dedicated employee of Pundmann Ford where he retired in 2018 after 38 years of loyal service. James’ life will continue to be celebrated here on earth by his loving wife Ann; daughters Karen (Jeff) and Tina; grandchildren Kelsey and Dylan; son-in-law Louie; first wife Glenda; bonus daughters Christina and Tara; several nieces and nephews, in-laws, and countless friends. James is welcomed into heaven with joy by his first daughter Debbie and siblings, Marlene, Dub, and Bob, and his parents Bernice and Robert. "Jimmy's love, life, and laughter will be missed by all of us." The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society, by visiting https://donate3.cancer.org/ Or St. Jude Children’s research Hospital, by visiting https://www.stjude.org/ and selecting on donate.
