Carole Ann ERMELING Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Carole Ann Ermeling (nee Hoover) of St. Charles, Missouri., passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022, at the age of 80 from complications from a stroke she suffered in 2021. She was born on March 5, 1942, in Centralia, Illinois. Beloved daughter of the late Lyle J. Hoover and Dorothy M. Hoover (nee Collett). Beloved granddaughter of the late Lucille Blanche Hoover (nee Minnear) and Charles Hoover, of Huntington, Indiana, Josephine Collett (nee Hossman) and Harry Collett, of Hillsboro, Illinois. Devoted mother of Tracey Lynne Hardwick (nee Ermeling). Cherished grandmother (Grammie) to Alanna and Laura Hardwick. Great grandmother to Ava Smith and Blake Kline. Carole was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and a friend to many. She was a licensed cosmetologist for 60+ years, and a licensed massage therapist for over 30 years. She was also a member of the American Society of Dowsers and an amazing artist. She took pride in helping people look and feel better, by not only her trade but also as a spiritual healer. She loved plants and animals and could grow just about anything. She often nurtured wild animals until they were able to be own their own again. She is greatly missed and loved by all who knew her. A candlelight vigil will be held in December of 2022 at Community Loving Care Hospice in Wentzville – all are welcome to attend.
