Connors, William Patrick (Bill) of St. Charles, MO. Fortiﬁed with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church. Born September 28, 1937, and entered into eternal life on November 16, 2025, at the age of 88. Loving husband of the late Ellen Connors (nee Prendergast). Loving father of seven: Pat Connors, Mike (Kathy) Connors, Katie (Terry) Osthoff, JoAnn (Greg) Galakatos, Bill (Sandy) Connors, Sheila (Mike) Munsell, Tom (Francesca) Connors. Loving grandfather of 28: Maggie (Firmin), Patrick (Jen), Mike (Christin), Kevin (Abbie), Kristine (Jon), Dan, Connor, Matt, Maura, Matt (Libby), Kelly (ﬁancé Kyle), Erin, Jenna, Kara, John, Caylie, Abby, Mallory (Jack), Kyle, Molly, Claire, Tom, Matt, Drew, Teddy, Willy, Jimmy, Joey. Loving great-grandfather to 14: Maeve, Oliver, Ellen, Jack, Caroline, Grace, Nora, Emmy, Connor, Jack, Mia, Archie, Hallie and baby girl Connors. Loving son of the late William and Nora Connors (nee McKenna), loving brother of the late Betty Houlihan and Mary Ellen Nolan. Loving brother-in-law of Jim and Maureen Prendergast, Jim Nolan, and the late John Houlihan, Tom Prendergast and Bob and Helen Prendergast. Loving uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many in St. Louis and Ireland. Bill was the son of proud Irish immigrants. He graduated from McBride High School and then joined the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division stationed in Korea. Following his service, he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. He received an appointment to study physics at NYU while simultaneously conducting research at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ. After obtaining his M.A., he transferred back to Washington University for his Ph.D. He enjoyed his professional career working for both McDonnell Douglas/Boeing in St. Louis and Hewlett Packard in Fort Collins, CO. Bill had a lifelong curiosity and desire to learn. He was a true polymath using his depth of knowledge, insight and problem-solving abilities to gently teach, guide and counsel his family. He loved research, a good debate, cold Budweiser and his Irish heritage. He was an unwavering source of strength and made a huge impact in the lives of all who knew him. We were blessed with such a wonderful father and his legacy is everlasting. While we will miss him deeply, we are comforted to know he is now with our mom. Services: ST.
