Susan Elizabeth HALL

Susan Elizabeth Hall was born in St Louis, Missouri September 21, 1954, and died April 17, 2025 after an extended battle with cancer. She was 70 years old. Susan was the youngest of three children born to Joseph and Marie Duvall. Both parents have passed. Susan had an older brother David (deceased) and Donna Duvall and has an older sister Pat and Ron Smith. Susan was married to Rick Hall and has two sons, Jason and Justin (deceased). Susan has many cousins and friends that loved her. Susan taught herself sewing with 25 years experience in making clothes from patterns like bath robes, drapes, wedding dresses, formal gowns, stuffed animals for poor Air Force enlisted personnel, stripes on military uniforms, bed ruffles, vehicle curtains, and computer equipment covers. She developed new ideas and operated a home-based sewing business in world-wide locations as a military spouse who frequently relocated. Susan was skilled in cooking and organizing for many family holiday meals. She will be missed. In addition, Susan graduated with Honors on the President’s List, 4.0 GPA, from Trenholm State Technical College in Montgomery, Alabama with a Clothing and Fashion Technology Diploma. She was also selected as the 1993 State of Alabama Vocational Industrial Clubs of America [VICA] Second Place Winner in the Commercial Sewing Olympics for the Secondary College System. A ”Celebration of Susan” will be held on May 4, 2025 at Paul Schroeder Park, 359 Old Meramec Station Road, Manchester, MO 63021. Visitation for celebration will be 12 PM to 4 PM, with a one-hour memorial starting at 2 PM. There will be a four-seat golf cart to assist those with physical challenges to safely arrive at the outdoor pavilion. We welcome you to bring a personal lawn chair and umbrella in case of rain. Susan requested a single orange rose which will be provided by the family. Please do not bring flowers or plants.
