Robert Paxton Miller

Robert Paxton Miller 71 years of age of Warrenton Missouri passed away at his home on March 22, 2025. He was born in St Louis Missouri on January 25, 1954 Rob grew up in Portland Missouri graduating from South Callaway High School in 1972 after graduation he enlisted in the Army as a combat engineer. He married Patricia Peachee on 2/14/1975. Rob enjoyed the time he spent in Germany making several lifelong friends. He served in Operation Desert Storm with The Army National Guard returning to Germany, later he retired from the 3175th Military Police unit in 2000. Rob began his civilian career in 1977 at the Holland Binkley company located in Warrenton Missouri. After over 20 years of employment Rob retired as the supervisor of the maintenance department. He also had a second career in HVAC and enjoyed a position at the Warrenton Armory. Rob enjoyed endless miles on his motorcycles. He was a member of the Legion Riders out of St. Peters and the St Charles Hog chapter. He made the ride to the wall multiple times along with endless rides all over the United States. Along with rolling in the wind Rob enjoyed spending time with friends, family and especially his grandchildren. Throughout his life he enjoyed hunting, shooting guns, boating and being outside in general. Rob is preceded in death by son Shawn Miller, and brother Byron Miller, special friends Bob Hafeli, Jim Etling, John and Judy Ramey and their daughter Alice, father Lester Miller, mother Margaret Miller, father in law James Peachee, brother in law Earl Ray. Rob’s surviving family includes wife of 50 years Patrica Miller (Peachee), son Travis Miller and spouse Jenn, son Mathew Miller and spouse Alisha, grandchildren Dawson, Madison, Dillon, Abagayle, Ayden, Margaret, Paxton and Calvin Miller, brother Daryl Miller, brother Bill Miller, sister Dixie Ray and many nieces and nephews. Rob will be cremated and receive a full military burial. Visitation, funeral and celebration of life to be held on Thursday April 10th, 2025. Visitation will be held at Alternative Funeral and Cremation Service beginning at 9am with service following at 11am. Internment ceremony held at Jefferson Barracks beginning at 1:30 pm followed by celebration of life with meal at Wright City Lions Club, at 678 West Woods Rd., Wright City, MO 63390 to begin approximately 3:30 pm.
