Robert "Bob" Gordon LANDIS Jr.

Robert “Bob” Gordon Landis, Jr., age 64, of Moscow Mills, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 17, 2025. Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Landis; his children, Angela Fritz (Joe Jacobs), John Nair (Gloria Nair), and Melissa Nair; his brother, Richard Landis; his stepbrother, Matt Bay; and his stepsister, Cheri Nelson. He was the proud grandfather of Jacob Tucker, Donnell Paine, Jordan Evans, Kia Paine, Danielle Paine, Haley Nair, Hannah Nair, Christian Nair, Bryce Nair, Hayden Metzger, Cole Bommarito, Bianca Sheets, Alyssa Stickman, and Tristan Jacobs; and the cherished great-grandfather of Levi Tucker, Landon Callahan, Zoey Tucker, Darla Stickman, and Malachi Evans. He was also a loving uncle to Austin Landis, Spencer Landis, Victoria Rus, Nate Frank, and Jack Frank, who all adored his humor and warmth. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Landis and Nancy Landis (Lee), and by his beloved grandson, Jeffrey Lee. A Life of Hard Work, Faith, and Joy. A retired plumber, Bob was a hardworking man who took great pride in his craft. He loved working with his hands, fixing things, and helping others — always ready to lend a hand where it was needed. Through his work and his example, he taught his family the value of honesty, effort, and kindness. At his church, Bob was affectionately known as “Hebrews” — the man who made the coffee and made everyone feel welcome. He loved fellowship and found joy in serving and connecting with people in his community. Bob was passionate about the game of golf and loved spending time on the course with his brother Rich. The two shared a lifelong friendship filled with laughter, good-natured competition, and a mutual love for the Philadelphia Eagles, proudly cheering together every season — Fly Eagles Fly! He also enjoyed watching NASCAR with his son Johnny, sharing laughs, friendly rivalries, and countless Sunday afternoons together. Music was another joy in Bob’s life. He loved to sing and play guitar, and his family treasured listening to him play — his songs filling their hearts and home with warmth, laughter, and love. Those who knew Bob will remember his quick wit, mischievous humor, and the way he could light up a room with his laughter. He had a gift for making people smile and for turning ordinary moments into joyful memories. Celebration of Life: A memorial service honoring Bob’s life will be held on Monday, November 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. at Have Bible Will Travel – Westport Location. “In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.” — John 1:4
