NOONAN, Martin

Bernard M. Noonan lost his long battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 16, 2010. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1959 to 1962. He was a loving husband father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife Vicki L Noonan (nee Arnold), 1 daughter Casey Noonan of Elsberry, MO, 1 son Corey Noonan of St. Charles, MO, 3 grandchildren, 5 brothers, Robert Noonan (Mary Ellen) of Wentzville, MO, Patrick Noonan (Sue) of St. Louis, MO, Martin Noonan (Cheri) of Eureka, MO, Timothy Noonan of St. Peters, MO, John Noonan (Roy) of St. Charles, MO. 2 Sisters Peggy Dorenkamp (Bob) of St. Peters, MO, and Rosemary Crawford (Fred) of Gobles, MI. He was Uncle to 27 Nieces and Nephews, 37 Great Nieces and Nephews, 1 Great Great Nephew and 1 Great Great Niece. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Margaret Noonan (nee Minelli) and 2 brothers, Frank Noonan Jr., and Joseph Noonan. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hartbauer/McBride Memorial Foundation, 4870 Taffy Lane, Arnold, MO 63010 or BJC Hospice 314-872-5050 in care of the Funeral Home. Among the many jobs in his life he was a motorcycle police officer in Florissant, MO, a security guard at Anhueser Busch as well as an over the road truck driver. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, member of St. Charles Harley Owners Group, Leathernecks Motorcycle Club, a former member of Kirkwood Harley Owners Group and Freedom of Road Riders, Local 25. He was a member of the Marine Corps League St. Charles Chapter, and rode with the Patriot Guard. He loved being with his family and going to Mark Twain Lake in Hannibal, MO. He was loved and respected by all and will be missed for years to come. Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 3115 Elm St. St. Charles from 4-8 P.M. and again on Friday from 9-10 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Road, Cottleville, MO 63304.Catholic Mass will be at 10 AM. in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial to follow in St. Charles Memorial Gardens. Motorcycles are welcome in the Funeral Procession, please meet at Church between 9 & 10 A.M.
