Michael R. METZ

With deepest sorrow, we announce that our dear Michael, age 39, left this life on Thursday, October 17, 2019. Every day, for ever after, his father, David Metz and mother Connie, brothers Jason (Jennifer) Metz and Steven Metz will feel lost without his light and love. He will be missed by his grandmother Betty Metz, his niece Danielle Metz and nephew Jaxson Metz. There will be a major sense of loss, but a place in the hearts of all his aunts, uncles, cousins and co-workers that will always hold a spot just for him. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to Mikey's extended family of friends and caregivers who have stood by him through all the good times and bad. After being gone for nine years and almost dying while gone of a disease "like" Leukemia...I must say...I feel BLESSED!!! Cheer up everyone!! Build me a son whose wishbone will not be where his backbone should be; a son who will know Thee and that to know himself is the foundation stone of knowledge. Lead him, I pray, not in the path of ease and comfort, but under the stress and spur of difficulties and challenge.
