Manfred Paul ROBISON

In loving memory of Manfred Paul Robison, better known as Fast Fred to many, who passed away peacefully at home on March 29, 2025, at the age of 73, following a courageous battle with cancer. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and friend, he touched the lives of all who knew him. Born in Wimmersburg, Germany, and moving to the United States at five, Fred was raised in Baden, Missouri, where his zest for life was truly boundless. As a Marine, he exemplified discipline, bravery, and dedication, which were evident in every aspect of his life, from stopping to trim a loose thread on someone’s clothing to his unwavering kindness. With an open heart, he embraced everyone he encountered, offering friendship and wise opinions to all, reminding us of the profound connections we can make in this world. Fred’s adventurous spirit and love for riding choppers took him down countless open roads. When he wasn’t riding, he found solace on the golf course, where his witty comments and camaraderie were just as integral to the game as his skillful swings. A lifelong sportsman, Fred was renowned for his competitive edge and remarkable talent, whether on the golf course, in friendly matches, or in other activities that showcased his athleticism and determination. His passion for fishing further highlighted his drive; he was always on the lookout for the biggest catch, sharing stories of triumph and laughter along the way. Fred was also a collector of just about anything collectable. Fred’s boundless generosity made him always ready to lend a hand, buy a drink, cop a feel, or brighten someone’s day with his larger-than-life personality. Even in his battle with cancer, he faced every challenge with remarkable strength, resilience, and humor. His ability to lighten any mood and encourage his wife and others to “simmer down” truly defined his inspiring spirit. Fred is survived by his wife Debra (Blondie) Robison, children Tammie, Jodi, and Ashley Robison, Gina Lindsay, Jaime, Josie, Josh Porter and Jackie Lopez, grandchildren, Catherine, Hanna, Charleigh, Andrew, Myles, Morgan, Alex, Ellie, Amber, Eli, and Bubba (Josh), great-grandchildren, Luna, Claire, Hunter, Rita, Avery, Hendrix, Emma, and Lilly who will cherish the memories of his life, his wisdom, and his love. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Lisa, and granddaughter Kaylyn. A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at Veterans Tribute Park on Kisker Rd on Saturday, April 26th, 2025, from noon until ?, at pavilion 3. Friends and loved ones are invited to gather to honor his legacy and the countless ways he made the world a brighter place. Fred will be remembered as a “man man” who truly lived life to its fullest ~ a man loved by all. He will forever remain in our hearts.
