It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Lynch, a remarkable soul who touched the lives of many with his boundless curiosity, warm heart, and generous spirit. He departed from us on August 22, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and a passion for both mechanics and nature. Born in Cape Girardeau Mo on December 10, 1964, John was a beloved son, brother, uncle, father, and friend. He is survived by his loving child, Brianna Hirshey, a source of immense joy and pride in his life. He also leaves behind cherished memories for his Mother Sandra Kay Bayne (Richards), Sister Cherrie Bommarito (Lynch), Brooks Robertson, Corey Robertson, and Shannon Paternoster (Lynch). He had many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews, whom he held close to his heart. Preceded in death by his father John Edgar Lynch, stepfather Frank Bayne, and Sister Mary Kay Cater (Lynch), Brother Shawn Lynch. One of John's greatest passions was nurturing the beauty of nature. With his green thumb and unwavering dedication, he turned barren grounds into breathtaking gardens that radiated life and color. His ability to breathe life into the soil mirrored his gift of nurturing relationships, as he cultivated connections with people from all walks of life. John possessed a unique ability to make strangers into friends, offering a helping hand without hesitation. His generosity knew no bounds, and his kindness was a guiding light for those fortunate enough to cross his path. In addition to his mechanical and horticultural pursuits, John cherished moments spent with family and friends. Whether it was a lively family gathering or a quiet afternoon sharing stories, his presence illuminated every occasion. His laughter, wisdom, and willingness to lend an ear or a shoulder endeared him to everyone he encountered. As we bid farewell to John, we remember the lessons he taught us through his actions: to approach life with an open heart, to find beauty in the smallest of things, and to extend a helping hand to those in need. Though he may have left this world, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear. There will be a Visitation at Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 6:00 - 7:45 pm, with a Service at 7:45 pm. John may have departed from our sight, but he will forever remain alive in our hearts. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the gardens of eternity he so lovingly tended to in this life.
