Albert Bernard CHABOT

Albert Bernard Chabot, age 95 formerly of Paradise California, passed away peacefully at his current residence in Louisiana, Missouri on the evening of July 1, 2019. Albert was born near Quebec Canada and moved to the United States at a young age. Albert was preceded in death by his parents Frederick and Olivine Chabot, his two sisters Jane and Titi and two daughters Dianne Chabot and Renee McRae. Albert also known as Al, served in the US Army in his early 20's During WWII. He went on to marry his late wife Lorraine E. Chabot and together had 3 daughters. During his life Albert loved to work on car engines, do housing construction and loved doing wood working. Anything that required a tool in his hand made his life happy. He enjoyed his grandchildren, baseball, country music, tinkering in his garage, dancing and making people smile. He frequented the Paradise McDonalds almost daily to have a hot cup of coffee and to enjoy socializing with the staff and other customers. He also loved to eat dinner with his friends at Cozy Diner and Kalico Kitchen. Albert never met a stranger and was always lending a hand to those in need. Albert moved to Louisiana Missouri in December 2018 after escaping and saving others from the California Campfire, which demolished his home and town. Albert was able to spend the remainder of his life with his daughter, grand daughter and her spouse and many great and great great grandchildren. Albert is survived by his two brothers, Gerald Chabot of Southern California and John Chabot of Colorado. He also is survived by his daughter Jenean Chabot of Louisiana Missouri, five grandchildren, Brenda Firkus-DeBold Louisiana MO, Diane Corron of Chico CA, Deborah Morgan of Corning CA, Gina Wood of Quincy CA and Dareyl Josephson of Chico, CA. Albert had 14 great grandchildren and 10 Great Great grandchildren with having the pleasure of welcoming the youngest one Kodi Renee into the world in March. Albert will be greatly missed by all those who knew his kind spirit and warm heart. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local SPCA or Animal Rescue Organization. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Paradise California.
