Glenn Woodrow Heitland, Jr., age 66, of Troy, Missouri died Wednesday evening, April 14, 2010 at his home. He was born September 23, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri the son of Glenn W. and Helen Gossage Heitland, Sr. Mr. Heitland was a retired civilian equipment specialist for the United States Army and had served both in the United States Army and United States Air Force. He was retired from the United States Army Air Guard. He was united in marriage on April 10, 1997 to Barbara J. Bonney in St. Clair County, Illinois. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Chris and his wife, Erin; a daughter, Jessica and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside services for interment of Glenn's cremains are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri with full military honors.
